Bike

Words matter. What you call a thing matters. In the quote above, the word "lazy" conveys one kind of message. If the word had been "efficient" or "seeking to conserve energy" that would be different, right?

I don't know if the person who invented the bicycle was lazy or not. I do think that whoever invented the word bicycle was smart. It's much more marketable than the velocipede.
