I don't like the phrase "light appetizers."  I like even less the phrase "heavy appetizers."  Can't we just say "SNACKS NOT DINNER?"

 

I also dislike the phrase "business casual attire."  I mean, guidelines are good, but I just don't like phrases that sound made up to convey some sense of social stratification or even phrases formalizing that stratification.

 

Now, if I saw something posted that suggested one ought to wear "showbusiness casual attire," well, I might like that quite a bit.
