Map

These photos are from an exhibition at the Christian Petersen museum at Iowa State.  The artist is Andy Magee and the exhibition is called "Post Pop Redux."  It is awesome. 

Above you see a map of the world. What you may not see from the image above is that the map is made up of plastic army soldiers.

As you can see in the image below, the soldiers are all pointing to the center of global conflict - or maybe the place where global conflict resolution will happen.  Yes, you guessed it: Charleston, South Carolina. 


Wait.  Maybe it isn't Charleston.  Maybe it's D.C.  

But my point is...  This is a cool map.  And that sure is a lot of little plastic army soldiers.
