Today is commencement for the graduate students I get to work with. They are about to commence. You'll note that I did not say that they are about to "commerce." "Why?" you ask? Because they aren't business students. Though compared to grad assistant salaries they are about to do more of that than they have in a while, too.
Why does it always have to be about money with you people? Can't we just celebrate their academic achievements?
Sheesh.
