Would you want to know when you were going to die if you could know that? I don't know if I would or not. I think I'd rather not. I like surprises.
I read that a robin can be an omen of death if it sings in church or taps on / flies through a window. I think a robin sitting on a headstone is also an omen of death. Well, not so much an omen, just sort of a symbol of what is already obvious.
