Language

The language of friendship is not words but meanings.
~ Henry David Thoreau

Kids are smart and tricky.  I went out to visit my friends Laurie and Catrina about a year ago and was talking with their son, Jordan.  When I spent time with the kid, I realized he spoke Spanish, Hebrew, English, sign language and jibberish.  I couldn't really tell - when he was talking - when it was a real language.  I didn't even realize he spoke jibberish until late in the visit when Catrina pointed it out and encouraged him to stop.

Kids are smart.

And tricky.
