Leslie is funny.  She can laugh at herself and see the humor in other people and situations.  

I like listening to her because she is a great story teller, makes interesting observations and asks good questions.  She can capture a moment with a comment or an insight. 

There was a time we were at baseball game and a woman who probably shouldn't have had a microphone had a microphone and was making running commentary.  Poorly.  She was talking about the home team enthusiastically but without focus.  Maybe without purpose. 

After a particularly long and grammatically butchered rant, Leslie leaned over and - imitating the commentator - whispered to me.  "We love this team!  They are in number first place!!!"

I really like hanging out with her.
