Forward

Going forward is a matter of ordinariness.
~ Zen saying
-----
Blurriness is a challenge. If you focus too much on what is in front of your face, the big picture is fuzzy. In the same way, if you focus too much on what is in the distance, you miss what is in front of your face.
I suppose it is a matter of awareness -- the way that you're supposed to keep your eyes moving when you drive. Rear view mirror, side mirror, road ahead...
Of course, two of those driving steps involve looking back. But maybe looking back insures that you can continue to move forward.
But, if you sit in the "wayback" of an old station wagon, facing backwards, you might get car sick. So be careful of that.
